Boeing 737-300 Passenger Jet Plane

Boeing 737-300 The First of the Classic Series. The Boeing 737-300 introduced in 1984 was the first model in the 737 Classic series bringing significant upgrades over its predecessors. It featured a stretched fuselage increasing passenger capacity to around 140-150 seats and was powered by fuel-efficient CFM56-3 turbofan engines which improved performance and reduced noise. The aircraft had an extended range and advanced avionics making it popular with airlines worldwide. With over 1000 units produced the 737-300 became a workhorse for short- to medium-haul routes. Many were later converted into cargo planes continuing their service well beyond their initial passenger operations.
